Higher Education

Currently taught methodologies rely heavily on the teacher transferring knowledge to students through rote memorization rather then facilitating the students to learn on their own. This makes the teacher the central dispenser of knowledge, which has the two fold effect of making the students less involved in their own learning and of keeping the students from interactively exploring subjects and learning through observation.

CRI has developed comprehensive specialized faculty courses on Basic Education. These courses are designed to strengthen and enhance the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of faculty members involved in the field of education and are in use in more than 300 international institutions of higher education that train teachers.

CRI has collaborated with the Higher Education Commission and Allama Iqbal Open University, to impart training to the faculty members of 40 public universities and teacher training institutes. Specifically, three courses were introduced to faculty members: Child Centered Curriculum, School & Family Partnership and Individualized Teaching in Basic Education.

CRI has been successful in getting four of its specialized faculty courses incorporated in the relevant B.Ed and M.Ed course outlines through the National Higher Education Commission.
